Ryan Mara (Sewell, NJ) is piling up the individual awards his senior season.  The Pioneers forward was awarded the SECHL Player of the Month award for the month of November.  He followed up that accomplishment with being named the Player of the Month for the entire ACHA.  The award covers all players competing at the Division 1, 2, and 3 level, which easily contains well over 5,000 players.  "Ryan has been tremendous for us this season.  He has always had the ability to score goals, big goals, and produce offensively, but this season he is providing the leadership the team needs and is excelling in all areas of the ice.  Ryan has sured up his defensive game and has earned ice time on the penalty kill due to his all around efforts", said Coach Ballance.

Ryan Mara who was honored had this to say, "I was surprised and honored as this is a great award to be recognized with as their are so many players out there.  I want to thank my teammates and coaching staff for their support.  This is my last season and I just want to do whatever I can to help this team win", said Mara.

The Pioneers congratulate Ryan and wish him continued success as the season moves on.  The full article can be found at: http://achahockey.org/news.php?news_id=877684
