Hawkins allows no runs to lead the Healdsburg Prune Packers past the South Bay Storm 7-4

Jerad Hawkins kept the South Bay Storm (25-22) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Healdsburg Prune Packers (36-17) beat the South Bay Storm, 7-4.

Hawkins allowed eight hits, one walk and struck out one.

Tyler Meditz put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Healdsburg Prune Packers. He homered in the fifth inning and doubled in the seventh inning.

Austin Chauvin racked up three RBIs on four hits for the South Bay Storm. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

Gabe Katich was charged with his fifth loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.

The Healdsburg Prune Packers' Austin Guibor, Joe Prior and Meditz combined for six hits and four RBIs.
