The Peninsula Oilers (19-21) beat the Anchorage Glacier Pilots (18-20) 4-1 in seven innings on Tuesday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park behind Mylz Jones, who went 1-3.
He doubled in the fifth inning.Tyler Gibson picked up the win for the Peninsula Oilers. Gibson allowed no earned runs, four hits and two walks while striking out five over six innings of work.
Chandler Blanchard couldn't get it done on the bump for the Anchorage Glacier Pilots, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
