Wednesday:

After a buffet breakfast at the rink, guys started to warm up for our practice.  I took this time to get worked on by the trainer and masseuse.  That was a love-hate interaction to say the least; a deep tissue massage isn’t too fun.  Our scrimmage wasn't tiring at all because we sill had a scrimmage to take care of in the afternoon. The scrimmages were always my favorite part of the day because it was nice to get back into a game mentality and really compete.  We lost this scrimmage too, none the less it was great to get back into that atmosphere.

After the scrimmage we had a nice buffet lunch at the rink and headed towards the hotel and were done for the day. For dinner Mike, Brian and I treated ourselves to a little shopping and Chipotle.  Then we just hungout and watched the ESPY's, which Drake was outstanding by the way.

Thursday:

Travel day. We packed all our bags and headed towards the rink for the final time. All draft picks were to stay till Friday but Thursday marked the end of the camp for all free agents.  Another light workout before a scrimmage.  This time we took control of the scrimmage from start to finish and won 5-4.  With all the fans in attendance, there was a quick 5-person shootout that showed off some nice moves.

After saying some goodbyes and washing up there was a bus to the airport.  I thought the camp was run extremely professionally and first class through and through.  It was a great experience and I'd just like to thank the Blackhawks organization for a great week at Development Camp.

Thanks for tuning in!
