The Alaska Goldpanners (24-7) put in a full day's work in a 10-inning, 7-4 win over the Matsu Miners (21-11) Sunday at Growden Memorial Park.
With the score tied at four in the tenth inning, Tanner Pinkston came to the plate and homered, bringing home Scott Hurst and Vahn Bozoian.
Pinkston racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Alaska Goldpanners. He singled in the second inning and homered in the tenth inning.
Miles Chambers got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Chambers struck out two, walked none and gave up no hits.
Vince Arobio (1-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 1 1/3 innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
