The Halton Hills Jr B Bulldogs captured the Ontario Jr B Lacrosse Championship with a 8-3 win over Elora in the fifth and deciding game on Saturday night in Georgetown.

The Dogs came out roaring as Ethan O'Connor got things started 1:49 into the first and Michael Licata added to that a few minutes later to give the Dogs a 2-0 lead after one.

The second period was all Dogs.  Ryan Kelly was flawless through two periods slamming the door on the Mohawks.  Bradley Kri, Clark De Geer, Michael MacDonald and Jayson Crawford's pair of goals fueled the second period surge as the home side led 7-0 after two.

Elora scored first in the third period, but Michael Licata answered that goal to restore the 7 goal lead.  Elora would score a couple more goals, but the celebration was on!

The Bulldogs now advance to the Founders Cup for the second time in franchise history.  Their first trip was in 2002 when they hosted the event.  This is the first time the Dogs have won Ontario and earned their birth in the National Championship.
