Bremerton, WA - The Warriors added more depth at forward with the signing of forward Matt Walters for the 2014-15 season. The forward out of Littleton, CO played for the same Hawks team that produced vetran Warriors Brantt Heble and Jimmy Morgan. Coming in at 5'9" and 170 lbs, Head Coach Mller expects the same production he received from his Colorado kids from last season, "I watched him play and he definitely has a step. I think he will go under the radar much like Heble did until he starts putting up those same points."

Last season Walters put up 19 goals and 18 assists for a total of 37 points in 35 games. Here is what Matt had to say about joining the team:

Why did you choose West Sound?

"I just felt good about how they want to move kids on and how they are more concerned about the development of players then just holding them back to win games."

What do you hope to bring to the team this season?

I hope to bring speed and my ability to win battles in the corners.

What are you trying to get out of the season?

I hope I can improve my overall ability as a hockey player and my size and strength. I hope to be able to move onto a higher level in the future.

Welcome to our Family Matt! GO WARRIORS!
