The Minor Mosquito Hamilton Cardinals took to the field in Mississauga against the Tigers on Wednesday night, for their first game of the season. The Cardinals were strong in their attempts and had great communication on the field throughout the game. At bat, solid hits and their bunting skills were evident as they marked themselves into a lead by the 4th inning. Not a walkaway by any means, the Tigers put up a great fight and had some far reaching hits to the field, getting some well-deserved runs on the board. Hamilton exercised their new found skills at stealing bases to manage some extra runs throughout the game, while shutting down a number of attempts at runs through the various pitchers they brought to the mound. It was a tight close game for a while, but in the end, the Hamilton Cardinals pulled out a 15-10 win over the Mississauga Tigers. Great job!
