NBHL Women's Tier to begin in May 2022
Date: Jan 31, 2022

Bremerton, WA - The West Sound Warriors are pleased to announce the tendering on forward Cory McClintick. The 5'10" 180lbs forward will bring depth to a line-up that has lost top forwards like Jimmy Morgan and Peter Mingus. Coach Miller was all smiles about this signing, "Well our focus is on defense but come on, you know I like to score a lot too. Cory should bring an amount of physicality that we lost with Peter (Mingus) leaving and the added offensive ability that should keep us at the top of scoring in the league. This is a big addition."
The Idaho native played last season for the Idaho Jr. Steelheads Midget team where he served as captain and put up the impressive stats of 30 goals and 32 assists in 40 games. That same midget team took second at the 2013-14 National Championship Tournament. He also played a few games on defense for the WSHL Steelheads and had 1 assist in 3 games.
Cory hopes to bring a lot to the Warriors, "I'm a physical player that really enjoys scoring goals. I'm good at getting the puck to the net. I'm not fancy but I drive the net hard."
When asked why he chose the Warriors he had this to say, "I looked (at the Warriors) and talked to Coach Miller for awhile. He knows what he's doing and tries his best to get players to the next level. I really want to move on in hockey and go as far as I possibly can whether in college or tier II."
The Warriors look to continue their winning ways with a new crop of incoming talent. Welcome Cory! We are happy to have you join the family. GO WARRIORS!
