Bremerton, WA - The Warriors wasted no time in addressing their needs this offseason. Defenseman Nathan Zorbas has inked his tender and expressed his intent on playing in West Sound for the 2014-15 season. Zorbas comes to the Warriors out of Kenai, AK with some big expectations from Head Coach Jay Miller.

"I am extemely excited. I have some great players play for me out of Kenai and this kid looks to be another. We have targeted defense especially this year and I am expecting Nathan to come in and play some quality minutes a shore up a weakness. We have a list of three or four must have defensemen and Zorbas was on it. Should be a great fit," Coach Miller stated.

The 6'2" 190 lbs. blue liner played part of his season as the captain of the Kenai High School team where he amassed 21 points in 22 games (4 goals, 17 assists). "I think they're the best team in the league," Zorbas said, "They were the first real junior team interested in me and it should be a great experience to go to a winning team that moves players on."

When asked what he would bring to the team he responded, "I plan to bring a more physical style of play, grinding out the corners and protecting my net."

We are excited to add Nathan Zorbas to the Warrior family! GO WARRIORS!
