It says something when the National Championships are nearly half populated with the teams from a single league. The Tier 1 Elite Hockey League was proud to send 23 of the 48 teams in the U14, U16, and U18 divisions collectively on to the competition, a feat of magnificience when you consider how much talent there is across the entire United States. Consistently, the T1EHL league has show its ability to not only compete in the highest levels of hockey across the country, but also in moving its players to the next levels, and developing them into college and junior ready performers who make significant waves with whichever team is lucky enough to draft them.

In the 2014 National Championships, a special congratulations is in order for the Colorado Thunderbirds U16 organization. The Thunderbirds were the runner up in this division in a 4OT contest with Team Wisconsin. The Tier 1 Elite Hockey League is proud of their amazing season, and for their never give up attitude, promulgated by an excellent coaching and management staff. A second special congratulations is afforded to the Victory Honda U18's, who also placed in the number 2 spot in a battle against Shattuck St. Mary's. Victory Honda has consistently ranked in the top tier of the countries elite teams, and has shown its power in landing consecutive top draft picks in the USHL. This years team showed dedication, grit, and superior skill throughout the year, and the coaching and management was superb. The Tier 1 Elite Hockey League is proud of each of its affiliates, and it is well known that the league is made stronger by the intense competition and talent that every affiliate brings to the table.
