The Green Gaels Junior B Lacrosse Club will be hosting the annual Green Gael Classic this coming Saturday, April 12th at the Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex. This year’s participants include the Newmarket Saints, the Akwesasne Indians, Team Quebec, and the host Green Gaels.

            The exhibition tournament consists of round robin play, which includes six games throughout the day for spectators. The Green Gael Classic has been well attended over the years due to the competitive nature of the players attempting to crack their respective teams rosters for the upcoming season.

            Admission for spectators consists of either a donation of a non-perishable food item at the door, or the purchase of a 50/50 ticket.
