Bremerton, WA - Forward Peter Mingus had a hard decision this year. By the December break he had roughly 15 schools vying for his services next season. When the rigors of the season ended he finally concluded that Framingham State would be his school of choice.

Framingham plays in the MASCAC confrence of NCAA DIII where they finished fourth in the confrence but made it through to the semi-finals of the confrence tournament. Framingham is led by another of Coach Miller's alumn Ryan McDonald who is ectrememly excited about the addition of Mingus. "I'm excited to have him on our team. He is going to bring a lot of hard work, talent and depth to our roster," McDonald commented.

Peter felt Framingham was the right move for a few reasons. "I talked a lot with Duff (Ryan McDonald). It was nice to have first hand accounts of a program. It definitely made me feel more comfortable. In the end I had a lot of schools from the SUNY and east coast calling. I liked the Rams program because I feel I will have a fair chance to play right away and the academics fit with what I wanted."

Mingus returned to the States after playing two seasons in Canada. He immediately brought a fire and competitiveness to the team that led to two successful seasons. "I came back to play for Jay because I felt that I would not get the opportunity to play in college in Canada. I'm excited to continie my career."

We wish Peter the best of luck and thank you for all you have done for the Warriors!
