American Family Insurance ALL-USA Boys Ice Hockey Team

USA TODAY High School Sports announces its inaugural American Family Insurance ALL-USA high school boys ice hockey team

 

COACH OF THE YEAR:
Mike Turner, Trenton (Mich.). Won his 11th state title this season and became the winningest high school coach in Michigan hockey history.

Coach Turner commented on this latest recognition, "I'm honored to recieve this award.  It's is a bonus on an almost perfect year.  It comes as a complete surprise and I want to thank every one involved in making this one of my most memorable seasons.  Thanks to all my players, staff and school officials, without them none of this would have been possible."

 

THIRD TEAM

F: Christopher Brown, Cranbrook, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

Vitals: 6-0, 175, senior center, shoots right

Noteworthy: Scored 26 goals and 58 assists in 28 games. Strong two-way player with good hands and a motor at both ends of the ice. Plans to attend Boston College.
