Forward of the Month - Dillon Kessy

Coming off a Holiday break, January may have been short on games, but nowhere near short of talent.  

The Wooster Oilers played 4 games in the month of January.  Four games which saw top 10 division goal leader Dillon Kessy find the twine 3 times as well as assisting in 5 others.  Despite losing 3 in a row to the Central Wisconsin Saints, the Oilers pulled out a 5-4 victory over the season leading Marquette Royales.  Kessy's two second period goals, along with an assist in the first period gave the Oilers a 4-2 lead at 16:32 in the 2nd period.   A lead that would be matched by the Royales and then regained by the Oilers in the 3rd period.

The first player to reach 20 goals across the entire league and leading goal scorer for the Wooster Oilers, Dillon Kessy is the Great Lakes Division Forward of the Month.
