Tampa Bay Juniors survived a determined comeback attempt by Palm Beach Hawks on the way to a 7-5 win.

A goal by Tommy Whiteley put Tampa Bay Juniors up 7-4 in the third period, but Palm Beach Hawks pulled to within two on Gabe Lampron's tally 18:35 into the third period.

 

The win by Tampa Bay Juniors clinched the best of three series at 2-0.

Whiteley had four goals and one assist to lead Tampa Bay Juniors. Whiteley's first goal came 7:12 into the second period. He then added goals at 11:28 into the second and at 12:20 into the third.
