East Coast Eagles uses big second period to beat Potomac Patriots, 7-1

Potomac Patriots was within striking distance after one period, but East Coast Eagles put the pedal down in the second en route to a 7-1 victory.

East Coast Eagles was paced by Jake Raleigh, who tallied one goal and one assist. Raleigh scored 19:48 into the first period to make the score 2-1 East Coast Eagles. Jacob Weldon picked up the assist.

East Coast Eagles forced Potomac Patriots' netminders to work without much rest, firing 43 shots and forcing 36 saves. Alex Sokich made 24 stops and Derek Guzik made 12. East Coast Eagles' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Potomac Patriots power plays.
