Three periods of regulation and an overtime session were not enough to settle matters as xSpringfield Pics defeated xEast Coast Eagles in a shootout 3-2 (2-1 SO).

The shootout lasted for six attempts between the teams. xEast Coast Eagles' shootout goal was scored by Marcus Mazur. xSpringfield Pics' other shootout goal was scored by Stephen Gaul.

xSpringfield Pics overcame a one-goal deficit to capture the victory. xSpringfield Pics trailed 2-1 after a goal by xEast Coast Eagles' Aleksandr Makarov at 6:40 in the second period. xSpringfield Pics tied things up at 2-2 on a goal by Brian Brown at 24:41 in the second period.
