In what has become a tradition, the Michigan Interscholastic Hockey league will play a league schedule on the Wednesday before the beginning of the MIHL Prep Hockey Showcase.  “It provides us with an opportunity to showcase all of the teams and to insure that everything is ready for the Showcase,” explained Scott Lock, Director of Scheduling for the MIHL.  The schedule for the day is not finalized until early January, “It enables us to schedule the most competitive interleague games. We’ve seen the results from first half of the season and we have a fairly good idea what the matchups should be,” added Lock.
