Florida Junior Blades had a three-goal lead after two periods and cruised the rest of the way en route to a 4-0 win over the Palm Beach Hawks Hawks.

Florida Junior Blades was sparked by Chaise Howard, who racked up one goal. Howard scored 7:30 into the first period to make the score 1-0 Florida Junior Blades. Mason Kreidt provided the assist.

Florida Junior Blades put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow Palm Beach Hawks to score on any of its three power plays. Florida Junior Blades kept the Hawks' goalie busy throughout the game, and Joshua Pippin made 61 saves on 65 shots.

Florida Junior Blades also got a goal from David Wong as well. In addition, Florida Junior Blades received assists from Greg Buchanan, who had two and Killian Gray, Jeffrey Solow, and Michael Haskins, who each chipped in one.

Palm Beach Hawks was held below its usual level of production. The Hawks put an average of 2.7 pucks into the net per game. Florida Junior Blades' defense shut down Palm Beach Hawks' forwards for much of the game, and the Hawks got off only 11 shots during the contest.

Eric Sugrue rejected 11 shots on goal for Florida Junior Blades. Florida Junior Blades incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Palm Beach Hawks ended with 25 minutes in penalty time with five minors and one major.
