Cortina falls to Bolzano in overtime, 3-2 (OT)Olimpico Cortina Tue, Mar 27, 2012 The Bolzano Foxes pulled out a 3-2 (OT) overtime victory over Cortina on a clutch goal by Mark McCutcheon. McCutcheon had a great game for Bolzano, netting two goals. McCutcheon found the back of the net 8:38 into the second period to make the score 1-0 Bolzano and again while 52 seconds into the fourth to make the score 3-2 Bolzano. The Foxes' penalty kill was spotless, allowing no goals on three Cortina power plays. Marco Insam also scored for Bolzano. More assists for Bolzano came via Alexander Egger, who had two and Jordan Knackstedt, MacGregor Sharp, Tuomo Harjula, and Christian Borgatello, who each chipped in one. Cortina was helped by Jonas Johansson, who finished with one goal. Johansson scored 14:35 into the third period to make the score 2-2. Ryan Dingle assisted on the tally. Other players who recorded assists for Cortina were Paul Baier, David Bowman, and Luca Felicetti, who contributed one a piece. Matthew Zaba rejected 34 shots on goal for Bolzano. The Foxes incurred eight minutes in penalty time with four minors. Cortina's Jean Philippe Levasseur stopped 16 shots out of the 19 that he faced. Cortina incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors.
