Test uses early goal to top Bruins, 1-0

Test beat Bruins, 1-0, in a contest where the winning goal was scored in the first period but the game remained close throughout.

puck stopper provided Test with the game-winning tally when he scored seven seconds into the the first period. Eric Cantona provided the assist.

Test was efficient when it shot the puck, scoring its goals on only two shots.

Test was paced by stopper, who racked up one goal.

Test avoided man-down situations, tallying one major for five minutes in penalty time. Even so, Test surpassed its low season average of 2.0 penalty minutes per game.

In addition, Test received assists from gfd, who had one.

Test registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. Bruins ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
