Tyler Seguin lifted Test to a 5-2 victory with a hat trick against Leafs. Seguin got on the scoresheet 9:44 into the first period. He then added goals at 15:29 into the first and at 7:02 into the second.Test outdid its season average for goals scored. This season, Test averages 0.8 goals per contest. Test also got points from hgjk, who also had one goal and one assist and gfd, who also registered one goal and three assists to lead the team in points. More assists for Test came via Geoff Smyth, kgjf, and jfggs, who contributed one a piece. Leafs avoided man-down situations, tallying one major for five minutes in penalty time. Even so, Leafs surpassed its low season average of 1.0 penalty minutes per game. Leafs' defense let in more goals than it usually has this year. Leafs averages 0.8 goals allowed per game. Leafs was led by Milan Lucic, who racked up two goals. Lucic scored the first of his two goals on the power play at 15:25 into the third period to make the score 5-1 Test. Leafs had gained a power play chance when kgjf was whistled for tripping. Josh Scott provided the assist. Lucic's next tally on the power play made the score 5-2 Test with 3:04 left in the third period. Cody Vinnai picked up the assist. Other players who recorded assists for Leafs were Paul Kessell and Joe Winger, who each chipped in one. hgjk rejected 17 shots on goal for Test. Test totaled seven minutes in penalty time with one minor and one major and had no power play opportunities. Vinnai recorded 22 saves for Leafs. Leafs registered one goal on one power play opportunities.
