Test uses early goal to top Leafs, 1-0

hgjk gave Test the lead in the first period, and Leafs was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 1-0.

A goal 28 seconds into the the first period by hgjk proved to be the game winner, and powered Test to the victory.

Test was led by hgjk, who grabbed one goal.

Test avoided man-down situations, racking up one major for five minutes in penalty time. However, the total the 1.0 minutes in penalty time per game Test had been averaging this year. Test did not challenge the opposing netminder, only getting three shots on net to force two saves.

In addition, Test received assists from Geoff Smyth, who had one.

Leafs found itself stymied offensively, and got off a mere two shots against Test's defense.

Test took out back up after he had made zero saves and installed hgjk in goal, where he finished with two saves and the win. Test registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities. Tim Thomas recorded two saves for Leafs. Leafs ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play.
