Leafs hangs on, beats Bruins 1-0

Ray Bourque gave Leafs the lead in the first period, and Bruins was never able to catch up in a close game that ended 1-0.

A goal 7:06 into the the first period by Bourque proved to be the game winner, and powered Leafs to the victory Bobby Orr picked up the assist.

Leafs was sparked by Bourque, who registered one goal.

Other players who recorded assists for Leafs were Josh Scott, who had one.

Bruins managed to stay out of the box for the most part, registering one minor for two minutes in penalty time. Even so, Bruins surpassed its low season average of 1.0 penalty minutes per game.

Leafs ended with no penalties and went 0-for-1 on the power play. Bruins registered zero goals on zero power play opportunities.
