The Eastern Michigan D1 hockey team is pleased to announce the hiring of John O’Leary as our head coach for the upcoming season.

Coach O’Leary holds a USA level 5 Masters Certification and brings over 25 years of coaching knowledge and experience to our organization. He has coached at the High School, AAA and Junior levels with multiple league and state championships under his direction and most recently with Central Michigan University’s D3 program leading them to a league and regional championship in 2020 and Nationals in 2020 and 2021

 

Coach O’Leary brings with him a wealth of experience on and off the ice, as well as the energy and excitement needed to move our program forward! With his hockey knowledge, emphasis on player development and skill building, and his ability to build strong competitive teams we look forward to having him lead our program into the future!
