Wellesley Applejacks' captain and leading scorer this season Shaun Pickering became the PJHL-DOHERTY/MWJCHL Career Points Leader in Paris on Saturday night when he scored the OT winner in a 4-3 victory.  Pickering had tied his former teammate Alex Uttley earlier in the game with an assist.  He now has 356 career points and counting.

He began his career with Tavistock Braves back in the 2014-15 season and was traded to Wellesley during the following 2015-16 season.

He became the all-time Goals Leader (161) earlier this season and before the season is over will pass Uttley to become the all-time Assists Leader (209) as well as pass Tyler Randerson of New Hamburg as Games Played Leader (260) !!  He ranks 2nd in Career PIM (619) to Sean Mitchell of Ayr (713) !!
