The Wheatley Omstead Sharks have signed local product Tallas Smith. The 99 born 6'4" Ruthven native played his Midget hockey in Southpoint, winning the 2017 Bluewater Playoff Championship. Tallas has since played for the Erie Northshore Juveniles, winning 2018 & 2019 Silversticks, and playing in 2019 OHF Championships. Tallas has also played 8 games for the Sharks over the last 2 seasons as an affiliate player. The Sharks are very excited to have "Smitty" patrolling the blue line full time this upcoming season.
