GM’s beginning of the month report, November 12 2018; Sorry for the late report but was busy with the auction. Sunrise is at 8:58am and sunset is at 4:26pm for a total of 7 hours and 31 minutes of daylight. We’ve had 10” snow last week but most of it is gone with temperatures in the high 30’s and low 40’s. The November 3rd auction was a HUGE success. Thanks to all the volunteers, guests and sponsors who donated. I’ll be getting ready to send thank you cards and donation sheets to all that donated. I like being able to let them know how much we appreciate the support. Without everyone’s help we could not exist and we are so appreciative of our community. Once again thank you to Pearl Weaver (picture inset).. she always comes to help! For those of you who don't know, Pearl is our Special Olympics representative for the Mat-Su Miners. We just love her!
Still waiting on some player some contracts returned from the schools. We recently received a grant from the Rasmuson Foundation and hope to complete the enclosed sports facility at the field. We are so blessed and thankful for everyone’s help. BIG ribbon cutting in the spring!!That’s it for now. Take care. Next report will be December 1st. Pete and Denise
