Team takes to ice for 2018 Season

On Saturday August 12th the Canadian Firefighters Ice Hockey Club took to the ice for the first time in the 2017-2018 season. Team Alberta was the first to put steel in to ice as the team hit the ice Saturday afternoon in Calgary for a hour and a half skate. The team is beginning preparation for the open match of the season in Las Vegas at the 911 Heros Cup October 12th - 15th at the home of the new NHL franchise the Las Vegas Golden Knights. 

Practice was overseen by GM Kila Keith and Captain Sheldon Johnson with many new faces in the line up the team is looking to hit the ice a few more times in August to see where the new talent will fit in come opening night this October.
