2012 Team Banquet

On Sat. April 28th, the Sarnia Pacers held their awards banquet at Bottoms Up in Point Edward. All but one of the award winners were in attendance. Missing was Unsung Hero Justin "House" Matthews who saw plenty of rubber while tending net last season. Coach Kevin Huggett will be leaning heavily on House to help the team in its quest for success this year.
Other award winners were Aaron Schieman (Heart, Hustle, Desire), Lance Ross (Best "D" & MVP), trainer Doug White (High Achievement in Lacrosse), Dan Charlton (Top Scorer), Brandan Burr (Most Sportsmanlike), Kevin Conroy (Rookie of the Year), Kevin Hussey (Most Improved), Ryan Charteris (Most Dedicated Jr. Pacer).
The Home Opener for the Pacers takes place this coming Wednesday, May 2ndat Clearwater Arena Blue with a game start of 8pm against the Wallaceburg Red Devils. Admission to the game is still only $6 for adults, $4 for seniors and student, $2 for children under 10 when accompanied by an adult. Purchase yourself a season flex pass prior to the game, you’ll save money and avoid waiting in line to pay.
