Sophomore Elijah Coston was one of two players pursued by the club last summer. The Varsity team was excited to add him, and the depth he brings on the blue line, to the roster this fall. The addition of both Elijah and Ryan Gosselin have helped to rebuild the team's confidence after losing 16 seniors over the past two years!

Elijah's favorite subject is Social Studies and he aspires to one day attend Boston College. He listens to rap and his celebrity crush is the gorgeous Zendaya. He started playing hockey when he was six years old and the 'fastest game on earth' is his only sport of interest. His favorite NHLer is former Hollydell Hurricane, Johnny Gaudreau. Elijah's favorite hockey memory was winning districts with one of his club teams. His favorite quote is by the Great One, "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take."

Elijah thinks that the 'brotherhood' of the Abbypuck team this year is the best thing about the club. He admires what Nikolai Portner can do out there on the ice and his own, personal goal for the season is to net ten goals.

The fact that this team has so much talent in such young players is a great comfort to the club as we prepare to lose six more seniors this year. Elijah's hockey sense, stamina and tenacity will be a much needed asset in the seasons to come. We look forward to watching the younger players on this team gel and mature together.
