Bryce Tucker held the Marthas Vineyard Sharks (19-30) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Brockton Rox (24-24) to a 6-1 victory.

Tucker struck out five and allowed two walks and three hits.

Ben Porter had a hot bat for the Brockton Rox. Porter went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the second innings and singled in the fourth inning.

Tim Superko (1-3) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
