Wolves announce Free Agent Camp
Date: Aug 9, 2016
PORT HURON, MI - The Port Huron Prowlers are happy to announce the re-signing of Zach Tatrn to the team for the upcoming 2016-17 season. After coming to the team from the Titans, Tatrn logged 6 games for the Prowlers in the regular season, while scoring 3 goals and 3 assists. Tatrn was sidelined for much of his time with the team due to a broken rib and punctured lung he received rushing the net to score a goal against his former team on February 19th. The game would go on to be won by the Prowlers 6-5 in overtime. Tatrn returned to the team in time for the playoffs, and netted a goal and an assist in the post-season to help the Prowlers win their first Commissioner's Cup.
"I wanted to return to Port Huron because I like the style of game coach lets us play." Tatrn shared this morning, "If we work hard in the defensive end he gives us freedom to create offense and make plays on offense. I think that's why we won a championship last season because the players we have need the freedom to be creative off the rush."
"It's great to get a guy like Tats back. His talent speaks for itself, he can create scoring chances out of a dead play if you let him play his game. He is a great team guy, plays hard every shift and his off ice attitude and work ethic is tremendous. Coach Joe and I are thrilled to have Zach back." Karasiewicz said.
The Prowlers will play their first home game of 2016-17 on Saturday October 29th, against the St. Clair Shores Fighting Saints.
