Main Camp Concludes

The New Jersey Titans 2016 Main Camp concluded this past weekend, and now the Titans shift their focus to training camp later in August.

Fifteen games were played at the Middletown Sports Complex over the span of three days in front of the Titans’ coaching and scouting staff.

The organization couldn’t be more pleased with how camp went.  For our staff it was our first main camp together and everything from the logistics to the competition level was excellent.  Obviously tryouts are a tough time for players with many competing for a limited number of spots.  I can confidently say there were plenty of really good hockey players who unfortunately did not make our team, said Head Coach and General Manager, Craig Doremus.

With that being said we are excited with the group and look forward to the start of training later in August.”

Towards the end of camp, three All-Star games took place on Saturday and Sunday, showcasing the top talent that was at the arena.

The 2016-17 NAHL season kicks-off on September 16, when the Titans travel to Wilkes/Bare-Scranton to take on the Knights at 7:30 p.m. The Titans then return home the next day to face the Knights at 7:30 p.m. at the Middletown Sports Complex.
