The team has announced that they will take part in the 2017 Hero’s Cup hosted in Boston Massachusetts next April. The team will enter the top bracket in hopes of bringing home the tournament championship. Team Canada Firefighters will look to bring a team of 15 plus two goaltenders and support staff. Members from Team Alberta, Team BC and Team Ontario will be in the line up for the games.

The team will arrive in Boston a few days early and take part in team practices and site seeing events in the lead up to the hero’s cup opening ceremony. The team will be taking part in this event for the first time in team history. The event is expected to have over 30 teams from all over the USA and Canada. The games will be played at the Marlboro Sports Complex just out side the city of Boston. The facility host 6 rinks all NHL size with a bar, restaurant and game area in the lounge.

Team Canada Firefighters will be fighting for gold against teams such as Boston Fire, NYPD and US Cost Guard. The games should be fast paced and exciting for all to see. More information will be coming soon, feel free to check back for updates.
