The Melville Millionaires (5-18) came out firing, but couldn't hang on to the lead, ending up on the losing side of a 5-3 ballgame against the Swift Current Indians (18-7) on Tuesday at Mitchell Field.
While the Melville Millionaires led until the fifth inning, the Swift Current Indians worked their way back and took the lead on a two-run error.
Bodie Cooper racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Swift Current Indians. He homered in the fourth innings.
The Melville Millionaires couldn't get anything going so long as Aidan Goodall was on the hill. The Melville Millionaires managed just one hit off of Goodall, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three during his 2 1/3 innings of work.
Owen Kelly couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Melville Millionaires, taking a loss. He lasted just four innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed four runs.
