The Lake Norman Copperheads (1-6) didn't put up much of a fight on Friday, as the Team Charlotte (3-3) cruised to a blowout 7-1 win in seven innings.

The Team Charlotte scored two runs in the sixth on the Team Charlotte scored in the sixth on a sacrifice fly by Trevor Rhyne and a sacrifice fly by Grant Fuller.

Griffin Love had a hot bat for the Team Charlotte. Love went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Nathan Hendley got the win, running his season record to 1-0. He struck out two, walked none and surrendered two hits.

Zachary Davis (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just four innings, walked two, struck out one, and allowed five runs.
