Cape Cod Islanders head coach, Jay Punsky continues to prove over and over why he is the reigning coach of the year.  His latest signing, forward Kyle Croker, shows that not only is he great at evaluating talent but he has the contacts to reach players looking for an opportuinty to develop in their careers. 

"Kyle is a guy who has played at the college level and he knows what it takes to succeed."  Punsky said  "We are looking to him to add an offensive punch to our line up.  He is an excellent play maker and will crerate offense not only for himself, but the players around him.  We couldn't be happier that Kyle will be an Islander next season."

The six foot, 180 pound right shot center hails from Deptford, New Jersey is looking to help the Islanders improve on their success of last season.  "First off, I want to thank coach Punsky for giving me this opportunity to play for a first class organization.  I am looking forward to helping the team get back to the post season and hopefully the ultimate goal of a champioonship." Croker said "I like to score goals, but I also like to use my hands and vision to create opportunities for my linemates.  I look to create something positive every shift I'm on the ice."
