The New York Bobcats wrapped up its second EHL showcase this past weekend in Hudson, NH and the club went 1-2-0 in its three games.

On Saturday, the Bobcats fell to the expansion East Coast Wizards, 3-1.

The Wizards opened the scoring in the first half on a tally from David George.  East Coast then took a 2-0 lead to start off the second half before David Kleyman put the Bobcats on the board with his fourth of the season.

However, the Wizards were able to it right back to ice the game and grab the win.

Bobcats’ netminder Jordan Severo stopped 21 of 23 shots in the loss.

On Sunday, the Bobcats stormed out of the gate and were able to take a 3-1 lead over the New Jersey Titans into the intermission.  Carlos Ross found the back of the net twice and Ian Harris scored in the first half for New York.

Kleyman kicked off the second half with two tallies while Cullen Chin added a marker to give the Bobcats a 6-1 lead over the Titans.  New Jersey was able to score, however it wasn’t enough as the Bobcats picked up the 6-2 victory.

Brandon Rathwell got the win in net for New York, as he made 30 saves in the contest.

Monday didn’t fair so well for New York, as the club dropped the finale to the Northern Cyclones, 7-4.  Four different Bobcats found registered a goal, but the deficit was too large for the Bobcats to overcome.

New York is now 10-6-1-1 on the year and is currently in third place in the EHL Central Division with 22 points.
