HARTFORD, Conn. - Corey Kennedy registered five points and CJ Totillo collected three assists while goalie Brandon Rathwell stopped 36 shots in the New York Bobcats 6-3 win over the Hartford Jr. Wolfpack Sunday afternoon at the Cromwell Champions Skating Center.

Kennedy scored twice for the Bobcats in the first period to give New York a 2-0 lead.

The Bobcats then erupted for three goals in the second frame to jump out to a 5-0 edge over the Wolfpack.  Joey Maguire made it 3-0 for New York after his power play tally, which was then followed by Vinny DaBrowa’s second of the year two-minutes later.  Stefan Koproske netted his third of the campaign with 35-seconds left in the period.

Hartford, though, battled back scoring the game’s next three goals to cut its deficit to 5-3, however Lucas Brown iced for New York with just six-seconds left to give the Bobcats the 6-3 victory.

Rathwell picked up his fourth win of the season, after making 36 saves on 39 shots.  Wolfpack netminder Alex Corley is charged with the loss in only 31:32 of action allowing four goals on 26 shots.

The Bobcats move to 9-4-1-1 on the season and are in third-place in the EHL Central Division with 20 points.
