The Alaska Goldpanners (23-7) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Matsu Miners (21-10) cruised to a blowout 7-1 win at Growden Memorial Park.

The Matsu Miners scored two runs in the eighth on the Matsu Miners scored in the eighth on a sacrifice fly by Dayne Wunderlich and an RBI double by Paul Panaccione.

Cameron Frost rocked the Alaska Goldpanners with two home runs. Frost went 2-5 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Frost homered in the second and third innings.

Ryan Hendrix picked up the win for the Matsu Miners. Hendrix allowed no earned runs, three hits and two walks while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Jayson Balades was charged with the loss. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
