xJersey Hitmen used a sparkling performance by Mike Cuozzo to take down xBay State Breakers, as the netminder did not allow a goal in xJersey Hitmen's 5-0 shutout victory.

xJersey Hitmen was led by Phil Garcia, who registered one goal. Garcia scored 7:21 into the first period to make the score 1-0 xJersey Hitmen. Michael Meisenbacher assisted on the tally.

xJersey Hitmen put up an impenetrable defensive front on the penalty kill, and did not allow xBay State Breakers to score on any of its five power plays. xJersey Hitmen's offense rang up 40 shots on xBay State Breakers' net.

xJersey Hitmen also got points from Gregory Jandoli, who also finished with one goal and two assists and Meisenbacher, who also had one goal and two assists to lead the team in points. xJersey Hitmen also had goals scored by Sam Zietara and Ian Bernes, who scored one goal each. In addition, xJersey Hitmen received assists from Michael Ruggieri and Gregory Wilkins, who each chipped in one.

xBay State Breakers excelled on the penalty kill, not giving up a single goal in five chances. xBay State Breakers could not produce up to it normal offensive output. xBay State Breakers averages 2.6 goals per game. xBay State Breakers kept xJersey Hitmen's goalie busy throughout the game, and Cuozzo made 38 saves on 38 shots.

xJersey Hitmen incurred 10 minutes in penalty time with five minors. Brian Brady made 35 saves for xBay State Breakers on 40 shots. xBay State Breakers incurred 12 minutes in penalty time with six minors.
