The 2026 CCBC came down to the wire.  With 9 teams in 2026, and new playoff format of only 6 qualifying for the Canadian College World Series it took every game to decide the top 6.

The Vancouver Island University Mariners captured the 6th and final spot on Sunday with a win over the regional rivals from Victoria, the Golden Tide.  

The Prairie Baseball Academy clinched the regular season in Edmonton on Friday May 15th.
