A big congratulations to Jr. Hurricanes captain Maxine Cimoroni for winning gold with Team Canada. Cimoroni, who competed for Canada last year winning bronze, was selected once again to represent Canada at the IIHF Under-18 World Championship in Vantaa, Finland. She was chosen as assistant captain of the team. Canada went perfect in the tournament ultimately defeating Team USA in the final game 3-0. Maxine had 10 points at the tournament (4 goals, 6 assists) and was named player of the game in the semi finals.
