Miners sweep the Doubleheader

The Miners offense is picking up at the right time, and the Chinooks are going to need a miracle if they want to see the postseason. In game one for the Miners, Ethan Lyke pitched a complete game, striking out 2 and only allowing two earned runs. The offense had five doubles, one triple, and one homerun. In game two for the Miners, Cooper Vest went 2 for 4, scoring once. Alex Vegara went 3 for 4 with three RBIs, a double, and a homerun. Nolan Tucker went 1 for 1 with a triple, scoring once. Braydon Rogers went 1 for 4 with three RBIs. Sebastian Tomerlin went 2 for 4 with a triple, a homerun, and three RBIs. For the Chinooks, Michael Kelly went 2 for 3 with one RBI. John Whitney went 2 for 4 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored. Ryan Mathiesen went 1 for 4 with an RBI double.
