The West Virginia ACHA D3 hockey team held their senior night against Indiana University of Pennsylvania Crimson Hawks, falling 7-1.

IUP opened the scoring with a goal with 7:53 left in the first period, and doubled their lead with 12:42 left in the second, and added a third six minutes and 7 seconds later.

The Crimson Hawks then made their lead 4-0 with a goal with 1:22 left in the second period, and scored a fifth 12 seconds into the third period, and a sixth 54 seconds later.

WVU got on the board when Will McNamara scored assisted by Adam McNeill with 6:56 left in the game, but IUP scored a seventh with 3:26 to go.

Seniors Bobby Zoldos, Carter Kline, Braden Phillips, Andrew Nogowski and Christian Young were honored in a ceremony before the game.

The Mountaineers stay at home to wrap up their season next week against the Loyola University of Maryland Greyhounds on Feb 25. at 4:30 p.m.
