Great Job And Thank You

Date:  Source: BC Premier Junior Baseball League

Hi all,

To begin with, I would like to thank all of you for working with Clyde, Mike, and myself over the last 18 or so months.   We have had to go through an unprecedented time.   None of us has ever been through what we had to go through.  You did a great job in keeping the spirits up of not only yourselves, but also, all the players (and parents) that you work with.  That was not an easy task.   Telling your guys that they only thing you could work on was drills and BP and throwing bullpens was brutal, including the constantly changing and delays in when we would be able to get on the field.

All of you did a great job in supporting the League, PHO, Baseball BC in dealing with all the tasks we needed to do to get where we were in July.    We were able to work within the guidelines and did an extraordinary job of keeping on top of anybody that tested positive and making sure all guidelines were followed.    Thank you also to all the players and parents who were supportive of working through the pandemic.

GREAT JOB BY ALL!!!!!

Watching the performance of the players through all three tournaments after not playing for 15 months was amazing.   They did a great job (including the bantam players that moved up to the bigger diamond) and put on a great show.  Again, hats off to the coaching staff for what they achieved.

Another big “Thank you” to the teams that hosted the playoff tournaments at all levels.   As of June, we didn’t know what we would be able to do.  Your teams and volunteers put together the events in a very short period of time and all of you did a great job.   Please forward my “thanks for a job well done” to your groups.

We should also thank Clyde Inouye who was instrumental in developing the league (along with the late Dave Wallace, Walt Burrows, and Lowell Hodges) and helping run the league since 1995.   That was a great run and we will miss him going forward.

Lets hope that we can return to normal in 2022.

Thank you all,

Ted
