Linedrive Sportz All Star Week ends with a barn burner in the Willie Mays division.

This was all-star game week at LineDrive where all divisions featured their best on BCSN sports.

The Pee Wee Division started the games with the Scarlett Division coached by Scott Bruhn going against the Gray Division’s squad coached by OLPH’s Steve Koszycki. An excellent pitching duel between the two squads until late in the game the Gray Division loaded the bases. With 2 outs OLPH’s Lucas Koszycki came through with a triple that held up for a dramatic 7 to 4 victory. A great effort by both squads.

The Colt Division was also a Scarlett and Gray battle. The Scarlett squad coached by Ryan Osier faced the Gray division coached by Jason Dzierwa. A close game until late, the pitching of Kramer Osier and Jacob Zales, both of the Metropolitan Expo’s, held the explosive bats of the Gray team at bay to post a 13 to 3 win for Coach Osier team.

In the 10U Willie May’s division the LineDrive team took on the all starts of the Perrysburg 10U league. At a packed house, not one fan was disappointed in a tremendous effort by both teams. Both league commissioners Perrysburg’s Matt Inderbitzin and Line Drive’s Rich Schropp commented on the good sportsmanship and play of these fine young players. Joey Miklovic’s 2 out hit in the last inning paved the way to LineDrive’s dramatic comeback win in a 5 to 4 walk off victory. Each team had a MVP awarded at the game. Perrysburg’s Connor Kessinger and LineDrive’s Joey Miklovic.

To all the parents that attended the games, Thank You….The games are well worth watching as they will be shown this week on BCSN.
