Negrych was a Swamp Bat in 2004, and was named co-MVP, Rookie of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, and 1st team all-league in the NECBL in the ’04 season. He still holds the Keene record with 39 RBIs. Negrych was a 6th round pick by the Pittsburg Pirates in 2006, and played for 10 years in the minors, spending time in the  Pittsburgh, Miami, Washington and Toronto organizations and becoming a two-time All Star in Triple A. Negrych has spent the past two years playing in the Chinese Professional Baseball League with the Chinatrust Brothers Elephants in Taichung City, Taiwan. He is currently a volunteer assistant coach at the University of Pittsburg, his alma mater
